Bratz & My Scene Barbies. They look a bit more like the fahions that Kids use today. (Do not get me wrong, I am not saying Bratz started kids dressing like sluts.)

The Bratz seem to be taking over.

Barbie just can't seem to keep up anymore no matter how hard she tries to mimick the "Bratz Look".

The "My Scene" girls tried it but, they made the mistake of using fake feet to cover up their under-sized feet.

The "Cali Girl" Barbies tried to go with the Bratz's "bigfoot style" but, they couldn't pull it off either and since their hands weren't in proportion to their new feet, they just looked weird.

If Mattel had put the "Cali Girl" feet on the "My Scene" girls and made their hands the right size, it may have worked but, Barbie needs to just realize that she's getting old and keep up with these younger dolls who have no toes.

I think that Polly Pockets are WAY more popular than barbie. I think the reason Barbie and Bratz aren't as popular as they used to be is because of the way the dress them, and also the way they put makeup on them. Who wants their daughters playing with "slutty" looking dolls. They need to go a little old school on the clothes and makeup. My daughter found a really cute actually dressed nice Barbie today, and actually choose it over another on because her clothers were nicer. She is 6 so to me that proves that even a 6 yr old can care about apperance.

Make Barbie a selfish "brat" with an oversized head and eyes verses her oversized breast. That should help out sales. Well compared to whats popular now. Barbie is too tame for our "any publicity is good publicity" culture.

the talking barbies and thousands of variations of dolls and what they "do" is weird to me. i didnt really play with them when i was little.
however, i absolutely love the Alice in Wonderland barbie, and think its really cool that if you are into a specific thing ( I.E. nascar, spiderman, elmo, fairytales) you can always find some kind of intricate beautiful collector edition barbie relating to it that just looks so awesome.

Not long. Maybe an hour or two. I have a D3000 and it was charged in under 2 hours.
